Stephen was a much loved husband and father who should still be with us today. He enjoyed lots of sports, especially football, cricket and golf and he kept himself active by whizzing around Dorset on his yellow raleigh racer. Dad was an avid reader, lover of music and watcher of tv and he could have you in stitches with his wry observations of the world and the people in it. We do so wish that he'd been given some more years to enjoy life and to do some of the things he'd hoped to do during his retirement which he'd worked so hard towards. He would have been a brilliant grandad if he'd have got the chance. We miss him just being around and being able to go to him for fatherly advice. Hopefully dad, you'll still be keeping an eye on us, watching out as we stumble on our way through life. We promise that you will never be forgotten.
